**Your Community**

The Admissions team is responsible for managing the Application & Acceptance processes, Visa, and their relevant procedures to deliver a customer-focused service to our recruitment partners, universities, and institutions.

**Your Position**

The Visa Service Officer is responsible for managing/assessing visa caseloads and/or referrals for integrity checking, prioritizing cases for interviews and assessment, carrying out credibility interviews and undertaking investigations for integrity checking.

**Your Bakcstory**
- Work experience within an international student recruitment on industry / shared services environment.
- Experience of using computerised systems/databases to achieve work goals and tasks.
- Proven experience within an international education related role, preferably within an International Admissions environment.
- Highly organised; able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
- Resilient, self-motivated and able to work independently on a day-to-day basis.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Excellent attention to detail and able to interpret and follow prescribed processes, recognising when to seek additional guidance from more experienced team members.
- A strong collaborator who works well with other teams in Admissions and the wider business. Openly shares information with others on a regular basis.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Demonstrates a growth and continuous improvement-mindset - open to feedback and acquiring knowledge.

**Your Contribution**
- Support the daily operations of the admission process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of processes and high level of customer service is maintained
- Preparing reports, case-notes, interview notes, correspondence, and other material in relation to visa matters.
- Ensuring that any process issues are escalated to management immediately.
- Carry out Visa Application checks along with Admission Team where required to ensure that all documentation has been captured prior to submission in line with university and immigration requirements.
- Ensure that all information and documentation provided by the counsellor is accurate and complete.
- Create and manage spreadsheets ensuring critical reports are accurate.
- Ensuring data integrity, confidentiality and security is strictly adhered to at all times.
- Ensure that work carried out by Adventus.io on behalf of the education institution is compliant and within agreed service levels
- Be up to date in regard to any changes or amendments to the prevailing student Visas laws / rules / regulations, changes in forms / formats and other procedures and keep the internal and external clients advised of such changes Provide regular support, feedback, and guidance for the internal and external stakeholders.
