Remains and makes sure grooming standards of all stars in departments are reinforced and work correctly attired with name tags.
Check daily room assignments to make sure the rooms are assigned efficiently and be in line with guest’s requests as well as to control cost.
Updates team on room rate changes and all Sales & Marketing programs.
Updates associates on rules and policies governing special promotions and that their production is tracked.
Ensures that room rates, which have been updated through the Sales & Revenue system, are followed.
Ensures that all members in the Front Office understand the business goals of the hotel industry average rate, occupancy and profitability of the division.
Reviews the daily room revenue report and monitors rate changes and adjustments.
Ensure that all Front Office personnel are trained accordingly to the standard of service and hotel operation standard.
Spends at least 80% of their time working in the operation with associates
Ensures that associates promote hotel facilities and services and that all associates have knowledge of hotel products, menus, promotions etc. in Food & Beverage.
Ensures that Rooms profit is maintained through maximization and control of expenses.
Monitors the cleanliness of the front of the hotel, Lobby area, the front desk and back offices.
Ensures that guests are treated with superior service through check-in and check-out procedures.
Ensures that guest’s requests are followed up on and guest history is updated in the PMS system.
Resolves and reports all guest and department problems and complaints daily.
Schedules Front Office roster to maximize service and efficiency of labor costs.
Compared on a daily basis the Housekeeping report of rooms cleaned to the Front Office of rooms sold.
Participates in the preparation of the annual marketing and budget plan with HOD
Make sure each supervisor is held responsible for taking reasonable precautionary measures on safety and health procedures with respect to person, company property, products and services.
To communicate and reinforce safety requirements and procedures are followed on specific job instructions.
P&L monthly preparation support HOD.
Review Outstanding Leave Days for Front Office Department
Performs daily shift process ensuring all tasks adhere to standard operating procedures.
Resolve customer issues, complaints, and problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
Build strong relationships and liaise with all other departments especially housekeeping, reservations, etc.
Check all billing instructions are correctly updated
Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
Ensure the Front office log book and the hotel log book are always updated and actioned upon.
Ensures safety by following guest check in and security procedures and reporting suspicious activity to security, manager, or MOD.
Participate in hotel committees and task force assignments.
Assist all departments in servicing the guests during high-volume periods.
