Project:_ **European Union-funded project “The ASEAN Regional Integration Support by EU (ARISE) Plus - Vietnam Trade-Related Technical Assistance (ARISE+ Vietnam)”.**

The _overall objective_ of the Technical Assistance to ARISE+ Vietnam project is inclusive economic growth and poverty reduction in Vietnam, while the purpose of the project is to provide technical assistance to the Vietnamese Government to maximise Vietnam’s benefits from preferential trade regimes, with a focus on regional agreements and the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) and the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA).

With regards the implementation of Activity 2.4 - **Strengthening of laboratory networks and testing rooms**, DAI is looking to recruit:
**International Non-Key Expert for Survey of Viet Nam’s Testing Laboratories (LABs)** **to conduct a **survey of the existing LABs networks** in selected priority **export sectors** where there is a need to identify LABs wishing to be trained towards accreditation, with the following profile:

- University degree, preferably in a laboratory testing-related field, e. g. economics, business, engineering, chemistry, physics, biology, etc.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working for and/or with the testing laboratories
- Experienced and qualified trainer with a focus on testing laboratories
- Experience in drafting a professional Training Plan for testing laboratories
- Very good command and understanding of English (Level C1).
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in conformity assessment or quality infrastructure.

The following would be considered as _additional assets:_
- Experience with government agencies and/or private sector relevant to the assignment, good networking with government and/or business.
- Experience working for EU-funded projects.
- Experience in drafting surveys, complex reports, technical guides and training materials in English.
