Channel & Category Development Manager

Overview:
To support Sales Development and Channel & Category Development Head in setting the right and effective strategy to enable Regional Sales Leads drive distribution and sales performance through new channel exploration & development along with the development and deployment of Trade Promotion program within allocated budget and high standard of efficiency, driving promotion automation systems, providing analysis on ROI/ efficiency and simplifying the processed management within PepsiCo’s principles
**Responsibilities**:
**Plan & Develop Trade Promotion to drive distribution, sales share**:
- Develop Trade Promotion agenda and plan annual / quarterly in cooperation with C&CD Head, Finance, RSL
- Collect right data and insights from internal and external sources, analyze the data, identify opportunities and propose the right Trade Promotion programs to drive distribution & market share through competitive price index
- Coordinate with Marketing team to synchronize Marketing campaign / concept with Trade Promotion program.
- Collect and analyze competitors’ promotion activities to propose counter action plan.
**Implement & Deploy Shopper Promotion with excellence / analysis**:
- Coordinate with Sales to deploy, implement & track promotion with timely commitment & high standard of excellence.
- Be professional in analyzing Trade Promotion program ROI
- Utilize AC Nielsen data, reports and market intelligence to analyze and provide fruitful advice accordingly.
- Ensure all Shopper promotion programs must be tracked on DMS.
- Follow up with relevant functions to ensure Trade promotion reimbursement to distributors on time
**New channel development**
- Be ownership of exploring, developing & accelerating new channels
- New channels priorities: Schooling & canteen; Wholesaler; Stand Alone Modern Trade
**Internal Process Simplification**:
- Coordinate with Internal Control & Legal team on frequent basis: Identify needs to develop/ rebuild processes & procedures to ensure the processes and procedures be well adapted to the business.
Qualifications:
- Required at least 2-3 years experience in Trade Marketing Management roles in MNC FMCG.
- Proven critical experience in distribution management as well as frontline management.
- Strong at both strategic thinking and execution.
- Possess complex problem-solving skill.
- Excellent analytical skills to identify both opportunities and challenges in order to propose effective solutions to business.
- Solution & result oriented.
- High impact influencing skill.
