We are now looking for Technical Development Director to pursue the opportunities in Vietnam that materialize in the coming years. As the Technical Development Director, you will have a key role in the development and selection of technical concepts and drive early-stage technical project development. This position would report to CTO as function reference and Vietnam Country Director as project reference, based in Hanoi, Vietnam.

**You will support initiatives including**:

- Lead the early-stage technical project development across all technical disciplines, leading technical design of wind farm projects in the Vietnam portfolio
- Develop, drive and manage activities to secure safe, timely, high-quality technical solutions and delivery of the project
- Develop and maintain key supplier relations, driving procurement and localization support
- Develop tools to improve efficiency in projects
- Identifying synergies and strategies
- Develop, drive and manage activities to secure safe, timely, high-quality technical solutions and delivery of the project, and maintain positive internal and external stakeholders' relationships to facilitate project delivery
- Ensure delivery of consistent, timely and high-quality reporting, analyses, and presentations
- Development of CAPEX, and associated technical DEVEX
- Coordinating technical packages and package managers and their inputs, and seeking to lead and establish a team in Hanoi with global interfaces
- Such other duties as reasonably directed by the Company from time to time

**To succeed in this role, you possess**:

- Degree in Engineering with 10+ years relevant experience
- Experience within the offshore wind industry in general and particular experience within optimizing wind farm solutions with regard to site conditions is a must, supply chain, harbor and logistics opportunities, environmental constraints etc.
- In-depth understanding of value drivers in offshore wind project, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to identify the right solutions
- Experience with procurement and contracting
- Effective project leadership & team management skills, conflict/dispute resolution
- Global mindset and responsive to local and remote sparring, inputs, and requests
- Cultural awareness and ability to thrive in multinational teams
- Team oriented mind-set and strong relationship building skills
- Proactive and co-operative way of working and attention to detail
- Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office Software including Power Point
