**Role Description - Summary**
- People supervision and Support

- GM Product Settlement and Control production, Supervision and Execution
- Daily/Monthly/yearly/Ad-Hoc regulatory report and regional, Local and Global MIS report

**Responsibilities / Tasks**

Leadership and Influence
- Leads and influences others to translate vision and strategy into action. Build strong networks and alliances internally and externally to facilitate smooth, rapid implementation of sustainable change. Holds self and others accountable for successful delivery of results and desired outcomes.
- Ensure implementation of local aspects of product strategy and change, continuous drive towards automation
- Develop and manage relationship amongst all internal and regional stakeholders.

Employee and Personal Development
- Groom staff to enable adaption of behavior and thinking to changing business environment.
- Supervise team members to ensure effective delegation and prioritization of tasks.
- Provide and seek honest, timely feedback throughout the year to enhance performance.
- Ensure succession plans in place for key roles. Recruit and select staff. Supervise people development and operating capacity. Communicate effectively and motivate team member

Risk Management and Control
- Proactively identifies operational risk and develop controls to manage and mitigate risk in partnership with the business.
- Educates self and others about inherent operational risk to improve knowledge about industry standards, security and audit requirements. Escalates appropriately to manage risk.
- Make recommendations for process improvement. Develop awareness of GMO strategy, predict business changes, control challenges and drive strategic direction/solutions
- Key interaction point for Audit, agree audit report along with the manager and deliver against resulting action plan
- Review all exceptional items daily. Review Monthly/Quarterly regional management reporting
- Close liaison with group, regional/Local product and control to ensure consistent execution.

Production and Control
- Supervise, Execute, Support and Control all settlement related activity for GM products, including, Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Money Market and Over the Counter Derivatives. The activity can expand beyond GM to other departments within the branch as decided by the reporting manager from time to time
- Supervise, Execute, Support and Control, all Payments related activity associated with the settlement of GM products. The activity can expand beyond GM to other departments within the branch as decided by the reporting manager from time to time.
- Supervise, Execute, Support and Control all regulatory related activity for Global Markets and other units as decided by the reporting manager from time to time.
- Supporting, Supervising and controlling the various cross product utilities, initiatives which are set up in the branch form time to time.

Business
- Leverages own and teams’ product knowledge to deliver customer-centered solutions. Manage and continually propose improvement to daily workflow and operations.
- Co-ordinate Regulatory/Administrative issues relating to the business along with the

Reporting manger

Miscellaneous
- Interpret and respond to client, regulatory and other stakeholder concerns along with

the reporting manager
- Other duties that may be instructed from time-to-time by the bank or as represented by the reporting manager.

**Experience / Exposure**
- At least 8 years work experience and has relevant practical experience in Settlement service.
- Product Knowledge and End to End process and local system knowledge in GMO or other relevant products.
- Expert-level analytical skills, flexible regarding production problem solving
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written / verbal)
- Excellent team leader, able to work in virtual global teams and a matrix organization
- Ability to work in fast paced environment, keep pace with technical innovation and maintain a broad understanding of the GMO.

**Education / Certification/ Skills**
- Bachelor Degree, preferably in Business Management, Finance or Accounting
