Business Development Manager

**What you’ll do**
As Business Development Manager-Vietnam (BDM), you will be responsible for driving sales on both consumer and commercial channels to achieve set targeted levels and leverage our brand objectives. Assist the team to optimise our marketing spend and brand presence. Establish and maintain strong relationships with retail/SI partners across Vietnam with the scope to include new accounts in the future. This is a top-down sales position that covers end to end operation includes but not limits to building channel strategies, channel development, product positioning, product management (pricing, PLC), key account management, end-user promotion planning/execution, dealer programs planning/execution, marketing strategy and execution, merchandizer (go around offline stores delivering product/promotion information directly to frontline sales).
**How you’ll do it**
Channel Development:
Meet or exceed gross sales, net sales and gross profit targets as set by upper management.
Demonstrate an ability to build and establish strong relationships with key accounts.
To explore new retail/SI customers and make them into managed accounts.
Assist customers with all account related questions, issues, or concerns. Provide accurate, timely information and manage the outcome.
Build and share weekly outlook and opportunities.
Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, Joint Business Plan’s, promotional plans and regularly review with sales leads.
Merchandizer. Visit stores and deliver products/promotion information directly to frontline sales.
Product Management:
Strategic pricing to provide every SKU a clear position and purpose.
Product life cycle management.
Product line-up/portfolio management.
Monitor and report on competitor activity and identify emerging trends in consumer buying patterns. Be able to turn these insights into actionable plans to achieve your goals.
Conduct weekly reviews of sales, inventory, promotions, pricing allowances (P&A), forecasts, and any other account activities that will impact financial results.
Promotion/program planning and management:
End-user promotion planning and execution.
Dealer program/promotion planning and execution.
Marketing Management:
Work with marketing team to come out monthly marketing theme and topics for social media contents.
Work with local agent to create and proofread marketing content before publishing.
To plan marketing content and prioritize information to be delivered such as ongoing promotion activities, new product launch, key highlighted products, corporate news, branding message, etc.
**What you’ll need**
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to influence others.
Passion for business, tech savvy and quick to adapt new concepts.
Strong analytical skills, leverage data to develop actionable outcomes.
- Fluent English (both Speaking and Writing).
**What you’ve done**
5+ years’ experience as channel sales or product manager in ICT industry in Vietnam.
Proven experience with or customer account exposure in the Information and Communications Technology sector.
Proven track record of sales growth and/or prospecting.
Ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy is required.
