Department Operations- LevelExperienced (Individual Contributor)- LocationVietnam - Ho Chi Minh CityThe Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
- Respond to real-time incidents or crises, proactively identify and evaluate emerging risks
- Work with/as the first line of defense to identify, assess and resolve risks of all risk types and coach the business to design and implement controls
- Monitor risks against limits and thresholds and work with risk owners/group risk team to resolve them within a set timeline
- Implement the risk incident management process including registration of risk events, managing and delivering risk incident reports
- Conduct postmortem investigations that provide critical insights to our internal cross functional stakeholders and deliver action-oriented assessments
- Produce respective reports to management and other relevant stakeholders
- Conduct presentations and training in risk identification and mitigation.
- Perform risk assessment from regulatory developments and industry mandates and communicate the risk vision and objectives to various groups to drive the alignment of risk policies or procedures
- Develop and implement operational risk policies, risk procedures, and key risk indicators
- Constantly develop and maintain risk tools and systems
- Other tasks assigned by the manager

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- At least 1 -2 years of working experience focusing on operational risk management or a related role preferably logistics platform/operations
- Good at managing stakeholders and constant changes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to details
- Highly responsible and trustworthy with respect to timeline or deliverables
- Good command of spoken and written in English
- Knowledge of E-commerce risk management is a plus
- Persuasive
- Assertive
- Inquisitive
