**Position overview**:
As the Export Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the international export sales operations and driving the growth and success of our premium chocolate brand. You work to identify potential markets and customers, establish, and maintain relationships with foreign distributors and partners, and create and execute strategies to increase sales and achieve our business objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
An Export Sales Manager may include the following responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the company's presence in the target international markets.
2. Identify and target potential customers and markets by conducting market research and analysis.
3. Establish and maintain relationships with foreign distributors and partners to create sales opportunities.
4. Negotiate contracts and terms with international customers, distributors, and partners.
5. Provide product information, pricing, and support to international customers and distributors.
6. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and initiatives for international markets.
7. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to adjust sales strategies.
8. Coordinate with internal departments, such as production, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
9. Generate sales forecasts and reports on a regular basis to management.
10. Travel to international markets to attend trade shows, meetings, and conferences.
**The key skills and qualifications required**:
- Passion for premium chocolates and a strong understanding of the luxury/premium consumer market.
- Proven experience in international sales, preferably in a similar role within the same industry.
- Strong knowledge of export procedures, regulations, and documentation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with international customers and partners.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
- Ability to analyze market data and trends to identify sales opportunities.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing global market.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel internationally for business purposes.
- Fluency in English.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
