**Job purpose**:
Lead Chemical business development activity in Vietnam, which includes identifying new business opportunities, developing client contacts. Develop and execute chemical sales strategic plans for long term business growth of Vietnam
**Key responsibilities**:
- Play a major role in organizing, planning, developing, coordinating and implementing sales and marketing strategies and activities (business plan / sales forecast) for Chemicals products in Vietnam.
- Develop, retain and sustain good relationship with key customers through periodic contacts and meetings to exchange market information, explore specific needs and anticipate new opportunities, ensuring SABIC’s market share and profitability in the country is maintained and / or increase based on the business plan
- Proactively identify, develop & nurturing new customers or new segments to seek out opportunity for expanding sales activities in defined region with the aim to provide quality products and services through innovation, learning and operational excellence while sustaining maximum value for our stakeholders
- Collaboration with other functions and utilizing existing planning, monitoring and forecasting tools to achieve planned sales volumes as per budget.
- Supervise all related sales responsible to ensure all set plans and sales process including on time delivery and after sales support are achieved.
- Leading team within Chemicals Sales ROA team to conduct marketing study, market segmentation, netback comparison and other special projects to develop new and innovative solutions and improve product marketability and profitability.
- Ensure the commercial level of transactions in the defined region comply with SABIC's company policy, EHSS standard and local law and fit local regulation.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Economics
- Minimum 10 year of relevant experience in regional chemical sales preferably in the Oxo industry
- Good knowledge about Chemicals value chain and Supply Chain
- In depth knowledge of the oil and petrochemical industry
- Ability to work cross-function to achieve business goals
- Able to work under pressure and solve problem in a dynamic market situation
- Effective negotiation and communication skills
- Strong analytical mind with good conceptual power
- Able to lead and a good team player at the same time develop self and others
- Good knowledge of international trade terms (INCOTERMS and UCP)
- Bulk vessel chartering charter party (ASBATANKVOY) knowledge
- Good finance and accounting knowledge coupled with financial acumen
