Record to Report Senior Executive

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for inventory/leasing accounting, and local and group reporting to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the records and compliance with Vietnam accounting standards and Group accounting policies
  • Inventory controls: cover product costing and inventory movement and balance controls; periodically reconcile inventory with G/L
  • Stock provisioning: compute and control all required stock provisions as per Group policy
  • Dummy store control: initial review on the Stock request form, advise users to ensure stock inout process complies with current policy; issue invoice in accounting system where applicable
  • Asset controls: Supervise asset control team in physical stocktake at stores and warehouse
  • Monthly closing: support line manager in monthend closing to meet the deadline as requested.
  • Account reconciliation: ensure frequent review and reconciliation of all movements and balances, and timely resolve/clear related longpending balances.
  • Reporting: responsible for preparing the periodic VAS and Group reports and statistic reports.
  • Other tasks assigned by the line manager

REQUIREMENT:

Qualifications:

  • Degree major in Finance and Accounting
  • Member of a professional body (e.g. ACCA, CPA) is an advantage

Experience:

  • 2 years experience in Financial Accounting; Big 4 auditing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Oracle, SAP, and other similar ERP systems is preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; knowledge of other data processing tools is a plus
  • Experience in multinational retail/ consumer goods will be an advantage
