Position overview:


As the Marou Head of National Sales, you will be responsible for leading and managing our domestic sales team to drive the growth and success of our premium chocolate brand.

You will collaborate closely with the executive team to develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with our business goals and objectives for growing the Vietnamese market.


Responsibilities:

1.

Leadership:


  • Lead by example, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Set clear performance goals and objectives for individual team members and monitor their progress.
  • Build a highperformance sales culture that values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while representing the brand.

Sales Strategy and Planning:


  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies, tactics, and programs to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and improve our competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to align sales initiatives with marketing campaigns and ensure consistent messaging.

Sales Operations:


  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, retailers, and distribution partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as production and supply chain, to fulfill customer orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor sales data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and make datadriven decisions based on analysis.

Business Development:


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential partnerships, collaborations, and distribution channels which are a good fit for our brand.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new target markets and consumer segments.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and stay informed about emerging trends in the premium chocolate industry.

Customer Relationship Management:


  • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive customer loyalty and retention.
  • Proactively address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints, ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date with customer preferences, tastes, and trends to continuously improve our products and offerings.

Requirements:

  • Master or Bachelor's degree in commerce or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the food, premium liquor or luxury goods industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
  • Business acumen and a strategic mindset to develop and execute sales plans.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and partners.
  • Passion for premium chocolates and a strong understanding of the luxury/premium consumer market.
