  • Looking for new sourcing, new materials, negotiation with suppliers.
  • Search, evaluate and compare potential suppliers with each other in terms of quality, standard, price, capacity.
  • Initially build technical standards, product quality, terms of purchase, shipping, payment with supplier before handing over to purchasing activities.
  • Ensure continuity of supply on a daytoday basis with key suppliers
  • Risk management.
  • Working closely with new product development teams and suppliers.
  • Organize and lead regular tactical supplier business and operations reviews.
  • Organize and execute regular supplier site evaluations and audits.
  • Sampling, testing and quality assessment of samples from supplier.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing on assembly process, quality standards and material planning during Sourcing and product development.
  • Build, update and transfer the final list of supplier & vendor information to the production & purchasing department.
  • Purchasing materials related to diapers.
  • Balance material stock and make order.
  • Report on new product ramp up status to management.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • 3+ years of supplier management experience.
  • Required experience in sourcing of hard goods.
  • Preferable to have experience in new product development process in hard goods.
  • Knowledgeable in Purchasing Law, Uniform Commercial Code, Global RSL Requirement.
  • Experience using ERP is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English or Mandarin.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Thorough understanding of financial impact of decisions.
  • Ability to travel to supplier factories 23 times per week
