Summary:

Laird Performance Material (A DuPont Business) is looking for a new team member to join our team as a full-time position located in
Bac Ninh province.

We are currently seeking an
Accountant who will assist Accounting Supervisor in daily operations at the site. He/She will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance to accounting standards and corporate guidelines.

In addition, he/she will ensure the timely processing of payments, accurate reconciliation of the financial statements, tax and regulatory filings in accordance with the company's internal control standards.

He/She will also participate in various finance related tasks or projects, included but not limited to costing, business/financial analysis, forecasting and planning, in accordance with the company's direction.


Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the regional service centers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and processing of vendors' payment.
  • Preparation and filling of monthly withholding tax, VAT, annual corporate tax return and other regulatory related filings.
  • Liaising with external auditors, tax advisors and internal auditors in the timely completion of audits and tax related filings.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of financial accounts as well as formulating plans for resolution for reconciling items.
  • Uphold sound internal controls in the company's operational processes and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Participate or assist costing, monthly financial analysis and forecasting and annual budgeting.
  • Participate in adhoc finance related projects in accordance with company direction.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related discipline from a reputable university.

Skills and competencies:

  • At least 4 years' experience in a multinational corporation or major public accounting firm.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to manage a variety of tasks independently.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively cross functionally with others in the region.
  • Proficiency in both verbal and written English and Vietnamese communication.
