Responsibilities

1. Marketing Plans

  • Work with country sales teams, sector leaders, global/regional marketing and other local stakeholders to create plans in alignment with local and global business strategies
  • Leverage and incorporate regional and global assets wherever possible
  • Track progress against plan providing regular reports to key stakeholders
  • Manage country marketing budget and planning

2. Corporate Communications & Media Relations

  • Lead corporate communications by working out the strategic communication campaigns and manage execution to support business objectives and build DHL as community and industry role model.
  • Drive effective internal and external communication to engage stakeholders at all levels, to influence stakeholders &corporate partners
  • Build and maintain media relationships,public relations & external stake holders
  • Establish partnership with PR agencies and other vendors, manage result delivery
  • Follow regional marketing and corporate communications approval process for external communications
  • Responsible for crisis management communications with support from regional marketing and corporate communications

3. Targeting and Lead Generation

  • Identify growth opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Generate new leads through delivery of marketing activities
  • Support the nurturing of opportunities through the sales process

4. Brand and Sales Content

  • Educate country teams on the global brand guidelines and processes so that all customerfacing materials are brandaligned
  • Support in creating standard sales materials in coordination with the global content team
  • Be the main point of contact for iPresent system providing accessibility, training and ensuring all content for your country is regularly updated
  • Promote and use tools, resources and processes to support efficiency of the Business Development and Account Management teams (e.g. Sales Service Desk, research tools/services)

5. Events

  • Full event management responsibility for external and DHLorganised customer events leveraging bestpractice and tools developed by the events Center of Excellence where possible
  • Provide visibility of all upcoming events and plans, reporting on results and post event follow up activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations or related field
  • 10 years of relevant experience in Marketing & Communications at multinational companies
  • Transportation and logistics industry or sector background will be a plus
  • Strong project management, organization and time management skills
  • Proven event management experience
  • Ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels internally and externally
  • Full understanding of media needs and media relationships.
  • Advanced English
