We are looking for Country Sales Manager that will handle the following:
Lead and direct all day to day commercial related activities of the country driving the business to sustainable profitability, new level of excellence and effectiveness

Day-to-day Commercial Activities

  • Support the Sales Team/Managers in enlarging country customer base and growing market share; and achieving country budget, sales and allocation targets
  • Drive Sales Excellence initiatives
  • Key point of interface with CS Manager for driving customer service satisfaction

Branding and Digitalization

  • Improve ZIM brand in the local market, including Social Media, networking events and other forums
  • Promote use of digital products, such as eBL, EZQuote

Process Innovation & Communications

  • Oversee and improve Sales processes and interfaces with other departments to drive efficiency, maximize profits and enhance customer experience
  • Maintain effective internal and external communication channels

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in shipping or logistics industry at management level
  • Commercial/Business Development type experience
  • Expertise in promoting and developing new business
  • Local market knowledge (not mandatory)
  • Degree in business, communications or related field
  • Good communication skills in English (Vietnamese and/or Mandarin would be added advantage)
