What You'll Do
As Regional Sales Manager – South (FMCG and Consumer Healthcare), you will play a central role in shaping the commercial success of the business across southern Vietnam. Your day-to-day activities will involve guiding field teams through coaching sessions designed to build confidence and capability; developing tailored sales strategies that respond to local market needs; collaborating with colleagues from various departments; building lasting partnerships with external stakeholders; monitoring market developments; ensuring compliance; conducting performance reviews; representing the company at key events; and travelling regularly throughout the region. - Oversee all sales operations within the Southern region of Vietnam, ensuring targets are met through collaborative planning and effective team management.
- Coach, mentor, and energise field sales teams by fostering an environment built on trust, empathy, and shared goals.
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies that align with national objectives while adapting to local market dynamics.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including distributors, retailers, and internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial plans.
- Monitor market trends in OTC and consumer healthcare products to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Lead regular performance reviews with your teams, providing constructive feedback and support to help each member reach their full potential.
- Champion best practices in compliance, ethical selling, and customer care throughout all sales activities.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance departments to optimise product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and meetings to strengthen brand presence in the region.
- Travel frequently within Vietnam to maintain close connections with your teams and customers.
What You Bring
To excel as Regional Sales Manager – South (FMCG and Consumer Healthcare), you will bring deep experience from leading multinational organisations where you have demonstrated stability, dependability, and loyalty over time. Your background includes significant exposure to both FMCG and consumer healthcare markets—ideally with hands-on involvement in OTC products—and you have successfully managed large field teams across Vietnam. Your empathetic leadership style enables you to connect meaningfully with colleagues at all levels while fostering an inclusive environment built on trust. You possess excellent communication skills in Vietnamese and English which allow you to navigate complex stakeholder relationships smoothly. - Currently employed as a stable performer with solid tenure at a top-tier FMCG or pharmaceutical multinational such as Coca-Cola, Unilever, P&G, GSK, Reckitt or Abbott.
- At least 10 years' experience in sales roles within FMCG or consumer healthcare sectors—including 3–5 years at Regional Sales Manager or Senior RSM level managing field teams across Vietnam.
- Proven track record of coaching teams using a charismatic, influential approach that inspires collaboration and mutual respect.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in fast-paced environments.
- Fluency in both Vietnamese and English is essential for effective communication across diverse teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Vietnam as part of your commitment to team engagement and market coverage.
- Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships internally and externally.
- Experience working with OTC/consumer healthcare products is highly preferred for understanding market nuances.
- Resilience under pressure combined with an adaptable mindset suited for entrepreneurial settings.
