About the role

We are hiring a Performance Videographer to own short form video for paid ads. You will plan, shoot and edit one new ad each week, then ship the right variants for Meta and Google. You will work directly with the founder in Ho Chi Minh City. You will also collaborate with a full time photographer in the Philippines and a full time designer. 

The role is full time. In person shoots in HCMC. 

Remote editing with regular on site check ins.

Top 5 Objectives

  1. Own the weekly ad pipeline from idea to launch 
  2. Deliver platform ready variants for Meta and Google each week 
  3. Turn core claims into clear on screen proof that builds trust 
  4. Hit first winner in the first ninety days and document what worked 
  5. Keep files clean and on schedule so the team can move fast

Main Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy for Performance 
  • Create simple weekly plans for new hooks and angles 
  • Translate claims into visual proof like toe splay demo and flexibility bend 
  • Write simple scripts and shot lists and align with the founder before shoots
  • Production and Editing 
  • Run small product and lifestyle shoots in HCMC 
  • Handle light, exposure, audio and basic set control 
  • Edit 15 to 45 second cuts with captions and light motion graphics 
  • Deliver 16:9, 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16 versions with SRT
  • Iteration and Launch 
  • Produce fast variants such as intro swaps, CTA cards and thumbnail cards 
  • Share rough cuts on time, take feedback, and ship finals 
  • Log test notes and learnings after launch

Reporting and Collaboration

  • Work with the founder on priorities and approvals
    S
  • ync with the photographer and the designer to plan assets for email and ads
    Track simple platform metrics like CTR, VTR, ROAS and cost per view

Requirements

  • Three or more years creating short form ads for DTC brands 
  • Strong shooting craft for small product sets including light, color, texture and audio
    Speed in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve 
  • Solid captions and clean timing
    Reel or case studies with Meta or YouTube results 
  • Based in HCMC  
  • Able to attend in person shoots
    English from basic to good 
  • If English is basic the reel must show strong performance work
  • Bonus
    Footwear or apparel experience
    UGC direction and simple studio setups 
  • Comfort with US buyer insights and safe claims for platforms

KPIs You Will Be Measured On

  • One new ad per week with all required variants 
  • On time delivery at or above ninety five percent 
  • Within ninety days at least one to two winners that hit about four times ROAS or around three percent CTR on Meta 
  • Clear weekly test notes and recommendations
