General Description

The HR Specialist supports the Contract Logistics (CL) business by leading and executing end-to-end recruitment for warehouse and operational roles, ensuring timely workforce readiness to meet customer demands and operational ramp-ups. This role also provides day-to-day HR support at warehouse sites to maintain employee engagement, compliance, and effective people processes.

Job requirements:

1. Recruitment and Workforce Deployment (40%)

  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for warehouse and operational positions (e.g., warehouse supervisors, forklift operators, admin staff, etc.).

  • Partner with site managers and operations leaders to forecast manpower needs and develop recruitment plans aligned with customer demand and seasonal peaks.

  • Manage relationships with manpower agencies and outsourcing vendors to ensure a timely supply of qualified labor.

  • Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new hires to ensure smooth site integration.

  • Track, analyze, and report key recruitment metrics (e.g., lead time, turnover).

2. HR Operations and Site Support (30%)

  • Provide on-site HR support for employee relations, attendance, and basic HR administration when stationed at warehouse locations.

  • Support the implementation of HR programs, including performance management, training, and employee engagement activities.

  • Monitor compliance with company policies and labor laws.

  • Ensure that required processes and actions are in place to uphold Group HR standards and Customer Codes of Conduct.

3. Employee Engagement and Communication (10%)

  • Facilitate effective communication between warehouse teams and HR functions.

  • Support initiatives to enhance employee retention, motivation, and workplace satisfaction in warehouse environments.

4. Mobility and Collaboration (10%)

  • Demonstrate flexibility to work across and temporarily relocate to key warehouse sites based on business priorities.

  • Collaborate closely with the HR Shared Services teams to ensure consistent and aligned HR support.

5. Compliance (10%)

  • Ensure all HR-related practices and documentation comply with legal requirements and internal governance standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Good command of English (both written and spoken).

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of HR experience, with strong exposure to recruitment for blue-collar or warehouse operations.

  • Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or other fast-paced, labor-intensive environments is preferred.

  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Willingness to travel frequently or be temporarily assigned to warehouse sites as required by business needs.
