The Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP) is a trusted advisor to Hiring Managers and business stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction with IBM's TAO services. The TABP partners with clients to understand current and future hiring needs, design effective recruitment strategies, and provide market insights that drive results.

This role combines client relationship management, project management, and recruitment expertise. While overseeing all recruitment activities, the TABP may also manage a requisition portfolio—particularly for niche, strategic, or hard-to-fill roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an brand ambassador for TAO services, working on-site or remotely.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and client leaders to translate hiring forecasts into recruitment strategies.
  • Build in-depth knowledge of the client's business, sector, and talent needs.
  • Provide regular updates on requisition status, delivery health, and market insights.
  • Facilitate role discovery sessions to align on requirements, timelines, and sourcing strategies.
  • Consult on job descriptions, talent availability, and market considerations impacting delivery.
  • Collaborate with IBM's Sourcing Science team to execute sourcing campaigns.
  • Support candidate short-list presentation and ensure a strong hiring experience.
  • Analyze data to improve recruitment delivery and share best practices.
  • Achieve weekly/monthly/quarterly hiring and performance targets.
  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction, driving positive NPS, references, and case studies.

Requirements

Required:

  • 7+ years of recruitment and/or HR experience (Japan market experience preferred); 2+ years in a client management role across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to travel if required.

Preferred:

  • Ability to work independently and proactively build client relationships.
  • Recruitment experience in Manufacturing sectors.
