ABOUT THINKZONE

ThinkZone is the fund management company managing the most VC funds in Vietnam. Since 2019, ThinkZone has managed 4 VC funds investing in early-tech startups in Vietnam. The funds have invested in 23 tech startups from diverse sectors including fintech, edutech, AI, transportation, biotech, etc.

Founded by successful Vietnamese entrepreneurs and conglomerate owners, ThinkZone gathers extensive network of local and regional corporate partners to support the growth of our startups.

We are looking for
01 Legal Executive
to handle the ThinkZone's investments and operations matters.

A. JOB DESCRIPTION

The legal executive will support the investment team in processing deal flow and day-to-day compliance.

In general, the tasks covered by the legal executive include:

a. Transactions

  • Work with investment team to draft and review transaction agreements (SPA, SSA, SHA, Charter, etc…), other investment instruments (loan agreement, convertible note, SAFE, KISS, etc…), and other necessary documents;
  • Liaise with governmental authorities for licensing matters related to the activities of the Company (i.e. fund management, offshore investment…);
  • Be the contact point to work with external law firms and advisory agencies.

b. In-house compliance

  • Prepare, review, and manage internal corporate documents;
  • Maintain company's compliance with current and updated regulations;
  • Develop and manage the standard operating procedure of the company.

c. Other matters- Collaborate with other governmental agencies, venture capital, and startup communities to provide feedback and recommendations on related legal and policy frameworks.
B. REQUIREMENTS

  • Post graduate from Hanoi Law University, School of Law – Vietnam National University, Law Faculty - Foreign Trade University, Law Faculty - National Economics University;
  • Practical work experience in investment sector is preferable;
  • Strong interest in startup, entrepreneurship and VC is preferable;
  • Excellent and professional command of English and Vietnamese;
  • Ability to adapt to constant change, multi-task, flexible and have the ability to re-prioritize deliverables and resources;
  • Responsible, proactive, with high attention to details and work ownership.

C. WORKING TIME AND LOCATION

  • Location: Floor 5, NHS Complex Building, Trung Van, To Huu street, Hanoi, Vietnam.
  • Time: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM from Monday to Friday.

D. BENEFITS

  • Starting monthly salary of VND 8,000,000 for a 3-month probation. Official monthly salary up to VND 10,000,000.
