Project: Education and Research Capacity Building Project at University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City (UMP-HCMC)

Employer: Yonsei University Health System (YUHS), Seoul, Korea

Funding Agency: Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA)

Workplace: University of Medicine and Pharmacy, 217 Hồng Bàng, Phường Chợ Lớn, TP Hồ Chí Minh, Việt Nam

Contract Period: November 2025 – December months)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:30

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time on-site position based at UMP.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and review official project documents; report first to the Project Manager, and when required, to the Project Director.
• Coordinate and interpret during official meetings with professors, students, and government officials.
• Maintain direct communication with Yonsei University staff in Korea for project-related tasks.
• Organize medical education workshops, including logistics and coordination with stakeholders.
• Liaise with UMP professors for discussions and project implementation.
• Attend regular meetings with Yonsei University and UMP; prepare meeting minutes and follow-up action points.
• Collect and submit all receipts and financial supporting documents related to project activities to the Finance Officer.

Social, health, and unemployment insurance will be provided in accordance with Vietnamese law. The project will support annual health check-up for the employee.

12 days of paid leave per annum (in addition to official holidays).

Occasional business trips to Korea or other regions in Vietnam may be required.

Yêu cầu công việc:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Education, International Development, etc).
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in project coordination, administration, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in English and Vietnamese, with ability to draft official documents and handle formal communications in both languages.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.

Preferences

• Experience in international NGOs or development cooperation projects.
• Experience in liaising with academic institutions and government stakeholders.
• Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Korean language will be considered an advantage.

Employment Conditions

• Start date: Selected candidate must be available to begin work in November 2025.
• Salary: To be negotiated (based on qualifications and experience).
• Probation: First 2 months will be probationary period, during which 90% of the agreed monthly salary will be paid. Failure to pass the probation period will result in termination of the contract.
• Leave: 12 days of paid leave per annum (in addition to official holidays).
• Benefits: Social, health, and unemployment insurance will be provided in accordance with Vietnamese law. In addition, the project will support annual health check-up for the employee.
• Travel: Due to the nature of the project, occasional business trips to Korea or other regions in Vietnam may be required.
