With a history dating back to 1899, we are driven by a profound purpose: to inspire the brilliance of life, by creating rich experiences for people, in harmony with nature.Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage (SPVB) is a strategic alliance between PepsiCo Inc. and Suntory Holdings Ltd. since 2013.This position is responsible for providing vision, direction, business partnership, leadership to accelerate growth through focused and effective strategic procurement practices in designing, setting up, managing and developing an efficient Direct Procurement team through operation and continuous improvement to ensure the supply of Direct materials, services and projects at right cost, right quality, right time with the most optimal budgets:
Through long term (MTP) and short term (AOP) sourcing strategy after aligning across functional team and implementing the change management process.- By qualifying/ developing new suppliers over and above existing suppliers to mitigate risk of monopoly and get right cost.
- By doing right stakeholder management for both internal (cross functions in SPVB) and external (suppliers, government bodies like customs, MOH, etc.)
- Do value creation by working with suppliers as partners.
- Deliver productivity across direct purchases.
- Focus on minimizing risks including legal and financial risks.
- Drive process implementation and governance.
- Develop people capability for functional skills and soft skills.
Job Responsibilities- Deliver significant competitive advantage to SPVB through the generation and management of centralized supply arrangements.
- Develop and implement the most cost-effective purchasing processes to achieve lowest total acquisition cost and balance the requirements of internal customers, procurement and audit services.
- Inform management and strategic procurement on issues relating to economic situations and government rules.
- Develop and implement Service Level Agreements with contracted suppliers to promote an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ensure full cross-functional commitment to strategies through communication, education and evaluation of initiatives.
- Analyze financial and market data, to build and maintain knowledge of our external environment, to ensure that procurement proactively manages the goods portfolio.
- Develop Policy, Procedure, or Guideline in line with the BU/ Division Procurement to streamline all spends.
- Generate and utilize procurement reports to identify and fix potential cost issues
- Collaborate with other functions as appropriate to support P2P process.
- Collaborate with other Suntory Group Opposite Company’s to ensure SPVB costs benchmark favorably.
- Assess and understand supply market
- Develop category strategy and decide most execution strategy
- Execute the strategy and conduct aggressive negotiation and select suppliers
- Operationalize new agreements and implement supplier agreement
- Sustain results and manage suppliers.
Your TeamSkills and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
10+ years experience in MNC, FMCG-preferred, developing targets, leading change management and developing strategic sourcing strategies for more than one category.
At least from advanced level for all Procurement Competency framework:
