**The Position**:
**OPSWAT** is seeking a Global Procurement Specialist based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Global Procurement Specialist will serve as the lead finance partner to all business units for onboarding existing new vendors and managing vendor relationships. The Global Procurement Specialist will report to the Finance Director in Vietnam. The Global Procurement Specialist engages with the business stakeholders to execute procurement strategies for the key spend in Vietnam. The Global Procurement Specialist role will prioritize initiatives to ensure the delivery of key business objectives and benefits. Some of the key responsibilities are:
**What You Will Be Doing**:

- Review and create vendor list of all vendors being used throughout OPSWAT and document high level contract terms
- Work directly with global stakeholders (in 13+ countries) to understand key business objectives
- Continue to extract value through strategic sourcing and negotiation. However, more time and resources will be allocated to drive total value optimization in conjunction with functional/departmental leaders.
- This role is accountable for the development and execution of a standardized policy on new vendor onboarding and will assist all stakeholders in navigating our defined best practices
- There will be opportunities for this role to lead/facilitate regional sourcing initiatives and develop broader technical procurement and communication (soft) skills.

**What We Need From You**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in procurement
- Highly effective communication and influencing skills, both verbally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to and engage with people at all levels in the organization
- Comfortable with procurement concepts such as benchmarking and TCO
- Strong analytical skills
- Fluent in English
