Tobacco Factory Liaison Manager

**Language Requirement**: English (Fluent) & Vietnamese
**Job Scope**:
- **Communication and Coordination**: Act as the primary point of contact between the company's headquarters and the tobacco factory in Vietnam. Facilitate communication and ensure clear understanding of operational goals, quality standards, and timelines between all parties.
- **Quality Control**: Monitor and report on the quality of tobacco products and processes in the Vietnamese factory. Work closely with factory management to implement quality control measures and ensure products meet or exceed company and regulatory standards.
- **Supply Chain Management**: Oversee and manage the supply chain logistics from raw material sourcing to final product distribution. Ensure that all components of the supply chain are functioning efficiently and effectively to meet production targets and deadlines.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure that all factory operations comply with local Vietnamese laws and regulations, as well as international standards relevant to tobacco production. Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to factory operations and policies.
- **Problem Solving**: Identify and resolve issues that arise in the production process or supply chain. Work collaboratively with factory staff and company management to develop and implement solutions to operational challenges.
- **Reporting and Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive records of factory operations, including production volumes, quality control measures, and compliance efforts. Prepare regular reports for company management detailing progress, challenges, and strategies for continuous improvement.
- **Team Management**: Lead and manage the local factory team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. Foster a positive and productive work environment that aligns with company values and objectives.
- **Market Insights**: Gather and report insights on the local tobacco market, including trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes. Use this information to inform strategic decisions and business development efforts.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in factory management, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of **tobacco product manufacturing processes **and quality control standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively across cultural and language barriers.
- Proficient in English, with additional proficiency in Vietnamese preferred.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and solve complex problems efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
**Salary**: 16,000,000₫ - 40,000,000₫ per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ho Chi Minh City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Tobacco Product Manufacturing Processes: 1 year (required)
**Language**:
- English (required)
- Vietnamese (required)
- Chinese (preferred)
