**SENIORITY LEVEL: Mid-Senior Level**

**FUNCTION**:LEX**

**SALARY RANGE: $3000 - $5200/month Base Salary + Bonus Scheme + Excellent Benefits**

**LOCATION: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam**

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

**Reports to**:Head of Legal & External Affairs

**Reporting Level**:Manages Self & Others

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**

1. **Internal Communications**:

- Developing, driving and managing internal communication plan for BAT Vietnam Cluster
- Developing, driving and managing the annual internal communications calendar
- Coordinating the successful execution of all communication activities, including but not limited to, Company Day, WATZUP, Bulletin Board, internal/external Tet Parties, etc to ensure all company business direction/update, local and regional, well efficiently communicated.
- Driving and implementing Internal Communication plan to inspire and engage employees.
- Ensuring local leadership team, Area, Regional and Global well informed, aligned and support Communication & ESG strategies, priorities and plan.

2. **External Communication**
- Developing, driving and managing Communication & ESG Strategies for BAT Vietnam Cluster to support BAT Vietnam’s strategies and priorities (including external engagement, new categories products, excise, and anti-illicit trade) and to enhance BAT Vietnam’s reputation in the market.
- Executing and implementing the Communication & ESG Strategies.
Developing and managing media stakeholders and its engagement plan to ensure a ‘fit-for-purpose’ media relation for BAT Vietnam
- Monitoring the media environment towards tobacco industry and BAT Vietnam to ensure the company well prepared for any media issues/crisis; where appropriate,
- Leveraging the media channel to support the regulatory and AIT agenda for BAT Vietnam Cluster.
- Effectively managing agencies where relevant.
- Ensuring global, regional and local guidelines/standards well met in relation to all external communication.
- Being spokesperson for the company, providing the bridge between BAT Cluster and media, as well as between BAT’s different entities (headquarter, factories, distributors, etc.)

3. **ESG**
- Lead and manage the organization's ESG initiatives, including sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and diversity and inclusion.
- Develop and implement ESG policies, standards, and reporting frameworks in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess ESG risks and opportunities and develop strategies to address them.
- Collect, analyze, and report ESG data and metrics to internal and external stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and rating agencies.
- Stay updated on ESG trends, industry benchmarks, and evolving disclosure requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Proven experience in strategic communications, preferably within the ESG or sustainability field.
- Strong knowledge of ESG.
- Familiarity with ESG rating agencies, investor expectations, and relevant disclosure requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages for different audiences.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and building effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Knowledge of digital communication platforms, social media strategies, and media relations.
- Passion for sustainability, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility.
- Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to present, communicate and influence at an upper management level
- Quantitative and qualitative consumer, shopper and trade research and analysis skills
