The Head of Language Support will collaborate closely with teachers and teaching assistants, providing leadership to ensure effective communication, support, and resources across the department. Key responsibilities include leading meetings, overseeing EAL/VAL interventions, coordinating with year leaders, and supporting curriculum development for language-rich learning. This role will work with the Primary Leadership Team to monitor student progress, facilitate smooth transitions across key stages, and support targeted interventions for students needing additional support.-

- Have a strong background in teaching and language support, ideally in a bilingual or international context.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership skills, with experience mentoring and appraising teaching staff.
- Be adept at coordinating curriculum and language programs, particularly for EAL/VAL students.
