Support Administrative Intern for UN Development Initiatives

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is a global development network of national counterparts that work for eradication of poverty and reduction of inequalities in the world.
We are seeking highly motivated and qualified interns to join our team in Hanoi, Vietnam. As an intern at the UNDP, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in administration management, specifically:
Key Responsibilities- Assist daily operations of SD Front Desk in receiving requests for common services via various channels, responding and routing the requests to relevant technicians, recording the requests on the online service tracking system.
- Assist in receiving visitor registration and timely enter the system for security list.
- Assist with conference/meeting services.
- Assist with preparation of GOUNH access data for daily access reports.
- Assist with filing and documentation.
- Assist with communication to GOUNH users and other teams via Intranet and other communication manners.
- Support to CBO related activities.
- Provide other admin assistance as/when required.
As an intern, you will also have the opportunity to learn about the following key areas:
Learning Expectations- Gain hands-on experience in administration management.
- Understand how an office operations performs.
- Learn how to handle different administrative issues.
- Become familiar with document management systems.
- Get to know all office equipment and other IT applications.
- Develop confidence in making working in a multi-cultural working environment.
To be eligible for this internship, applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
Eligibility Requirements- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (Bachelor's level or equivalent).
- Have graduated with a university degree (as defined above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one year of graduation.
Applicants should have the following qualifications and skills:
Required Skills and Qualifications- Be able to communicate in English effectively.
- Good command of computer skills: MS Word and Excel are required.
- Familiarity with database software and adequate skills in data entry.
- Able to verify and correct inaccurate data in the database.
- Familiarity with image/video processing is an advantage.
