Job Description
The Global Development Intern will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Common Back Office (CBO). The CBO provides operational support services to UN agencies residing in the GOUNH at 304 Kim Ma, Ba Dinh, Hanoi. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in administration management and contribute to the success of the CBO.
Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with filing and documentation
• Updating the database
• Providing logistical support for protocol activities and services
• Recording tickets and extracting data on/from the Service Desk software
• Assisting with CBO admin tasks, including stationery audit & refill, inventory, and ad-hoc translation
• Supporting CBO related activities
• Communicating with GOUNH users and other teams via Intranet and other communication channels
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also have a strong command of computer skills, including MS Word and Excel, and familiarity with database software and data entry.
Able to communicate in English effectively;
Good command of computer skills: MSWord and Excel are required;
Familiarity with database software and adequate skills in data entry;
Able to verify and correct the inaccurate data in the database.
Familiar with for image/video processing is an advantage.
