Mô tả công việc
- Oversee the Front Office Operations.
- Work closely with other department heads to develop strategic business plans towards achieving business goals.
- Assist the Operation Manager with the effective implementation of standards, policies & procedures, achieve maximum guest comfort and satisfaction.
- Develop a team of highly skilled and professional front office personnel through multi-tasking and work process streamlining.
- Ensure the proper appearance of the lobby and all public areas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Be proficient in the use of the property management system, and train front desk personnel on the system.

2. Focus on creating a working environment that reflects the company’s core values and delivers on service excellence.

3. Have a thorough understanding of all hotel operating procedures.

4. Oversee the entire Front Office operation to maintain high standards.

5. Assign work duties to staff in accordance with departmental procedures. Communicate additions or changes to the assignments as they arise.

6. Maximize room occupancy at best rates.

7. Monitor the check-in/check-out processes, ensuring agreement to hotel standards. Anticipate critical situations and assist when necessary to help alleviate the pressure and to process the guest expediently.

8. Ensure regular and VIP Guests are recognized.

9. Monitor the Associates’ interactions with guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service. Observe guest reactions and confer frequently with Associates to ensure guest satisfaction.

10. Set departmental objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies, and procedures.

11. Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the Front Office Team Members with an emphasis on training and teamwork.

12. Ensure Team Members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area, and are continuously trained to learn and understand policies and practices.

13. Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel departments.

14. Conduct monthly department meetings and individual meetings as needed.

15. Inspect grooming and attire of Associates; rectify any deficiencies.

16. Recruit, manage, train and develop the Front Office team.

17. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.

18. Follow procedures for notifying the proper Company management and civil authorities in the event of an emergency or anticipated emergency.

19. Assist Accounting in researching all disputed charges and contact guests where required to explain disputes regarding front desk procedures.

20. Create an exceptional team and work closely with all operational departments to ensure the success of the property.

21. Manage and motivate the team in order to improve sales and the quality of service offered throughout the Hotel.

22. Perform any other works as and when assigned by the management.
