BDM supports Sourcing Coordinator and Buyers in the sourcing strategy, planning and forecasting. This position also has to monitor the results of the seasons and performance of suppliers, suggesting and implementing corrective actions. At office level, BDM centralizes the communication of the team with Office Director and transversals teams such as logistics, quality, and CSR.

BDM will negotiate with vendors the purchase orders assigned and will manage with them and other third parties the day-to-day activities related with product development, monitoring production, ensuring quality and CSR company requirements are met.

BDM shall prepare reports, presentations, and ensure company policy and sourcing procedures are followed.

**Main responsibilities**
- To drive marketing/merchandising and business development of its division at SEA market together with the team.
- To own the responsibility of the development of the Product Segments in the region.
- Special focus on Brand level and supply chain in developing new products, increase the purchase of products in the area.
- Establishing good relations with buyers and designers in headquarters, by keeping them updated about production/shipment status, centralizing their development requests, and informing about new business opportunities.
- Prospection & development of new suppliers. Looking for business opportunities by attending meetings, fairs, exhibitions, events, and collections presentations.
- To follow up and reporting of activities for monitoring. Strategic planning.
- Setting targets for the team in coordination with the BDM and/or Sourcing Coordinator.
- To coordinate its subordinates’ leaves, training requests, objectives, and daily operative planning.
- Support on buyer’s and supplier’s trip. Coordination with suppliers, setting agendas, etc.
- Assist/ Support in trade shows/fairs and special events in effectively showcasing new collections.
- Financial control of the team: to manage the unpaid invoices with both service and product suppliers. Improve payment terms.
- To coordinate and centralize relations of its team with transversal areas: CSR, Quality, Logistics, Labelling, etc.
- Market update: trends, duty/taxes, competitors, supplier news.
- Cooperate with other divisions: concentration of orders, parcel dispatching consolidation, supplier negotiation synergies.
- Ensure Quality, Labour and Environmental compliance of products and suppliers.
- Control the team’s budget and targets.
- Implement regular team training, maintain the corporate culture, and team stability, encourage teamwork

**Position Requirements**

**Skills**:

- Strong personal and customer service skills to communicate fluently with co-workers, vendors, and buyers.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Expertise knowledge of raw materials, quality control, product safety and costs.
- Expertise knowledge of negotiation, strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.
- Highest planning skills, sense of organization and deadline accomplishment orientation.
- Focus on anticipation, proactiveness and prevention.
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
- Coaching and leadership. Strong team working abilities.
- Expertise in project management.

Experience
- + 10 years previous experience in similar position, preferably at Retail sector in a foreign trade office.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate program in merchandising, business administration, or technical engineering is required.
- Master is preferred.

Language
- Vietnamese native
- English proficiency level in both writing and speaking.
- Additional language is a plus
- Good communication and presentation skills

Computer
- Advanced Microsoft Software knowledge.
- Previous experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

Others
- Availability for traveling, including overseas.
