**Primary Purpose**:
Reports to VP, Product Development & Production. Working with the cross-functional team on the costing issue, providing support as needed. Well awareness of job responsibility and standardize the guideline for daily work to get good efficiency.

**Job duties**:

- Ensure robust costing procedure and methodology for both finished product and midsole and outsole components.
- Have a strong ability to effectively handle supplier negotiations with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
- A proactive approach to finding value and initiating strategies to mitigate cost.
- Ability to work cross-functionally within the team and build strong partnerships within the product development team located in Asia and New York.
- Manage and coach a small team and devote time and energy to upskilling and developing our talent.
- Use PROCAM to provide yield analysis to ensure that material yield calculations are accurate and provide suggestions to the development team on how we could improve material efficiencies.
- Lead the special project as required (Including providing feedback and inputs into the design of new systems and procedures)

**Dimensions**:

- Manage the costing aspect of all vendors, collaborate with all the cross-functional teams within Tapestry if needed

**Requirements**:

- 7 years or above of costing experience, including at least one year of managerial position.
- Product development and manufacturing essential, leather manufacturing a plus
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills to make reasonable judgments on cost. Good numbers, details-minded.
- Proficient in English
