About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team at Apollo GraphQL. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping major product teams transition from proof of concept to production with a federated graph.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with engineering teams at various companies to educate them on the value of the Apollo Graph Platform and assist in consolidating their existing GraphQL efforts to effectively roll out a federated graph.
  • Provide technical guidance to Apollo enterprise customers at critical points in their GraphQL journey, from their first proof of concept to production, and as they expand adoption across their organization.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their goals, roadmap, culture, technical architecture, and the optimal way to implement Apollo in their company to achieve their objectives.
  • Develop innovative solutions to support and accelerate federated graph adoption within customers' existing architectures, identify new use cases to grow accounts, and maximize business value for Apollo's customers.
  • Contribute to the improvement of our documentation, OSS libraries, and platform through customer feedback or issues, and coordinate with internal tech leads to address real-world challenges.
Requirements
  • You are passionate about teams of all sizes achieving more than they thought possible.
  • You value empathy and enjoy discussing solutions with users and customers to resolve their problems, making you a trusted and valued partner.
  • You have a technical background in enterprise data delivery (APIs) and ideally GraphQL, with the ability to create code samples, review and advise other engineers, and develop trusted relationships with engineers.
  • You have a track record of delivering timely results due to your organizational skills and follow-through.
  • You possess a creative, 'can-do' attitude, finding innovative ways to overcome obstacles and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • You are passionate about mentoring and collaborating with others.

This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere in the US or Canada working CST hours.
