About the role:


Vaccine Business Unit (VBU) at Takeda Vietnam carry the mission of protecting Vietnamese people against dengue fever, a disease which remains a high burden to healthcare system globally as well as in the country.

In May 2024, TAK-003 (Takeda's dengue vaccine) was granted marketing authorization by Vietnam local health authority.

Vietnam VBU is now at the most exciting stage of preparing the market and bringing TAK-003 to Vietnamese people within the year 2024.


The Medical Sales Representative (MSR) - Public and General Customers will play a critical role in implementing the defined strategy of Vaccine BU towards a sustainable growth of Takeda's Dengue Vaccine (TAK-003) in Vietnam from commercial perspective and with a focus on customers (influencers and prescribers related to immunization setting) at public sectors and other general accounts in private sector.


How you will contribute:

Following are the areas of focus for the position of MSR - Public and General Customers at Takeda Vietnam:

Customer Management & Territory Action Planning

  • Be the first contact point for the assigned customers/KOLs/HCPs in Public and General accounts for all queries related to TAK003 vaccine.
  • Take accountability of territory action planning (TAP) for assigned accounts that will be aligned with overall Takeda Vaccine business and brand strategy.
  • Build and nurture strong, longlasting relationships with customers and partners, understanding their unique needs and delivering tailored solutions with excellence.
  • Work closely with the other peers in Sales force, marketing and medical to ensure One-Takeda image and One voice to KOLs and HCPs across channels nationwide.
  • Stay abreast of market information and market trend (including updated news on regulation related to our business, customer insights, market insights, sales out at account level and inarm data of our vaccine, etc.) and provide ontime feedback and inputs to AM, marketing and medical team that contribute to brand planning, TAP and impactful scientific engagement with HCPs.

Sales Performance Excellence

  • Provide HCPs and decision makers of hospital/ institutes/ vaccination centers with on time and accurate data and information about TAK003 vaccine of Takeda and objection handling.
  • Coordinate efficiently with internal cross functions to provide on time and accurate information to customer' queries about TAK003 vaccine data and evidence, supply and demand, scientific engagement activities from Marketing, medical and Sales team and PV related matters.
  • Ensure aligning his/her activities at assigned territory/accounts with the Vaccine BU's objectives, marketing plans and channel's direction.
  • Take charge of tender planning and administration tasks at assigned public accounts when and where is required.
  • Provide NSM and AM with accurate forecasting, data tracking, inarm data, including but not limited to tender, promotional scheme at vaccination centers for Takeda's vaccine and other vaccine that may impact team's performance.
  • Collect econsent of HCPs for omnichannel engagement activities
  • Ensure zero % of noncompliance for all activities and materials in execution

What you bring to Takeda:

Essential:

  • Mandatory to hold a university or colleague degree in medicine or pharmacy
  • Compliance mindset is a must
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Vietnamese

Desired:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry as MSR or intern
  • Experience in vaccine, regardless of role and responsibilities
  • Good command of English (verbal, reading and writing)

Other Job Requirements:

  • Travelling time: approximately up to 70% per month in the first 6 months and up to 85% in subsequent months (on average of 18 to 19 days on field a month)
