Monitor customs clearance and local handling service:
A1.
In compliance with the regulations, accept and check the instructions, information, and documents that are required for performing the customs declaration.
A2.Determine and assign a tariff classification, where permitted, based on regulations and customs procedures, to enable duties and taxes (the customs payment) to be calculated.
A3. Confirm documentation required for the appropriate customs procedure. A4. Enter and submit the declaration in the internal and/or external system. A5.Provide all the information required by the customs authorities:
act as an intermediary between the company and the customs authorities. A6.
In the event of an inspection or a physical check of goods, provide the necessary documents and the declaration to the customs clerk.
A7. If required, attend physical inspection carried out by the Customs Authority A8. Advise on the implementation of customs compliance rules, particularly FTA's. A9. Check and advise cost, quotation if being required. A10. Monitor shipments which Bollore handles customs clearance and local handling service. A11. Follow up assignment of manager. B.Advise on the internal and external regulations and customs procedures:
B1.
Provide recommendation and advice regarding our positions and/or decisions on customs and formalities for the international movement of goods with customers or internal members of staff.
B2.In the event that a customer rejects our proposed standpoint relating to the customs tariffs, record the rejection, and the final decision of the customer.
B3. Act as a support role for the implementation of new regulations B4. Provide support to the front office for customs matters when they qualify prospect and visit customers. C.Regulatory oversight:
C1 Keep up to date on changes to customs regulations. C2. Keep up to update on new trade compliance rules (FTA's, bilateral agreements ) D.
Developing and building the loyalty of supplier portfolios:
D1. Organize customs services with the approved service providers at the best possible rate. E.
Develop and implement new customs offers for customers:
E1. Design innovative solutions aimed at developing new services for customers, working together with Front Office E2. Issue opinions and recommendations to the Front Office during replies to tenders E3.
Carry out audit and customs engineering assignments, include implementing new processes and new procedures, assist with the arrangement of customs authorisations and customs clearance operations, and the certification process, and draw up innovative solutions for customers, etc.
