The position responsible for Thales businesses development in Vietnam in Aerospace, Defense, Security and Space.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and support a team of BD & Account Managers to develop the Thales business in Vietnam
  • Develop and maintain deep customer relationships through the BD&AMs team
  • Understanding the customer's stakes, expectations and visions
  • Working closely with BD&AM team, Sales team & CD for support on actions plans (growth opportunities, engagement plan, mustwins, capture plans, market segment content)
  • Lead and leverage early identification of new opportunities
  • Identify new potential local partners
  • Monitoring the performance of Thales' competitors
  • Preparation of regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders
  • Keep informed of commercial actions regarding all accounts
  • Contribute directly or indirectly to the negotiation process
Work Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in account management
  • Experienced in team management
  • Track record of leading diverse and senior blended teams of various backgrounds
  • Understanding of intercultural differences
  • Proven background in the Defense Market is an advantage
  • Commercial and Project knowledge skills to manage project delivery issues and develop strategies on new business
  • Team player, Leadership skills, innovative thinker
  • Excellent communication skills
Qualification & Education Requirements

  • 15y Experience in Aerospace and /or Defense systems
  • Engineering background is desired
  • MBA, BSc/BA in business administration
  • Fluent English and French
Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of intercultural differences
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, strong ability in problem solving and negotiation
  • Ability to drive and define priorities
  • Should be able to demonstrate a proactive, entrepreneurial, problem solving spirit
