Role Purpose


The role of Portfolio Revenue Manager will be responsible for supporting a key portfolio of hotels in South East Asia to enhance revenue and market performance sharing in depth data analysis and recommending strategies to then execute.


Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the revenue function across a portfolio of hotels, developing and managing short, medium, and longterm strategies for profitable revenue generation and capture as set out in each hotels Service Level Agreement.
  • Responsible for proactively and cost effectively maximizing hotel room revenues, RevPAR and system delivery to achieve superior performance in comparison to the competitive set as measured in RGI and against budget growth targets
  • Develop strategy to achieve overall hotel revenue.
  • Analyzing competitor and market pricing and trends to come with the right pricing strategy by segment and for each revenue stream


Ongoing system healthchecks
  • Creation and presentation of forecast for all Revenue Streams
  • Prepare for and conduct Revenue meetings in line with the Revenue Management Cycle for all revenue streams to identify risks and opportunities, potential revenue driving activities or strategic direction shifts
  • Yearly budgeting for all revenue streams along with the hotel team
  • Participation in business reviews meetings with both corporate and owners
  • Analysis and report on EOM performance
  • As needed, support for new hotel openings or conversion setup

Key Skills & Experiences
Education

  • Ideally a University Degree or Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and workrelated experience.
Experience

  • Min 3 years' experience in Revenue Management, ideally in all revenue streams
  • Multiproperty revenue management experience preferred
  • Will have worked across luxury resort environments with high daily rates
  • Revenue Management Tools and Systems (CONCERTO, RMS or similar) Technical Skills and Knowledge
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to impact and influence remotely
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • System and Technology savvy
  • Korean language proficiency would be an added advantage but not mandatory.
Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Fluent in both English and Korean
  • Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning and executing largescale projects from conception through implementation.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to clients, vendors, senior management and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with leadership, field support teams and key hotel representatives.
  • Demonstrated effective conflict management/resolution and negotiation/persuasion skills to persuade key partners within revenue management, HPS and the hotels community to modify or implement various corporatesponsored programs and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience with industry and market trends as they relate to revenue opportunities, and demonstrated ability to drive revenue.
  • Demonstrated experience in industry training, including preparation, implementation and delivery of training programs.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to use the results of analysis to make effective strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks/clients required.
  • Knowledge of IHG brand, systems, and training programs helpful
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to use the results of analysis to make recommendations regarding effective strategic decisions.
  • Knowledge of Revenue Management best practices, reservation systems, and revenue management systems
  • Presentation skills necessary for various level audiences (peers, managers, departments, owners).
