SEA&ID Performance Management & VN Nutrition Finance Lead,** located in Ho Chi Minh City.


Main Purpose of Role:

  • Performance management SEA&ID Nutrition BU
  • Drive excellence in financial forecasting, financial planning, and performance management process
  • Build the overall capabilities for the business and the team specifically on financial planning.
  • To partner with BULT to deliver in year performance and lead the longterm financial plan for a cost competitive cost base, Investment strategy, innovations, Savings, Cost improvements and support other strategic business discussion.
  • To partner with BU Lead and crossfunctions lead in Vietnam to define and drive the business strategy and business performance of Country both inyear and longterm horizon.

Main Accountability

Performance Management
SEA&ID scope Business unit performance management through target setting, annual business planning, monthly forecast, define and monitor key performances KPI by Country from both category and channel perspectives. This includes analysis of actual results, updating the financial forecast, and budget controls for Business Unit. Partner with across functional finance and operation team to identify business risks and opportunities and drive profitable growth of total SEA&ID Nutrition Assist CFO on financial growth model of Business Unit and drive long term growth and profitability agenda for the business and actively participate in strategic planning and Value Creation. Partner with Supply Chain Business Unit, provide analysis and point of view to drive the supply chain performance. Cowork with Supply chain to drive Fuel for Growth/Savings agenda for Nutrition Business Unit. Manage and collaborate with your business partners (e.g. Channel CBD team, BU category team) in providing financial analysis required, e.g. business cases to support decision making, other types of analysis to provide insights and support strategic decisions, etc. Leading in preparing monthly reports (e.g. monthly, quarterly as required), and be responsible for responding to BG team on Business Unit' matters including but not limited to adhoc requests.-
Finance Business Partnering
Vietnam Nutrition scope. Partner with Business Unit lead and crossfunctions lead to drive the business and financial performance of Country. Drive business planning and agree next year's Financial Framework with Leadership. Manage in year business performance to deliver Financial Framework Drive long term business planning using the financial growth model (FGM). Support and challenge business decisions including but not limited to promotion/brand and marketing investment to achieve a superior sustainable financial performance. Independently provide financial information and analysis in a timely fashion with actionable recommendations for finance and business management Develop business cases to launch new products and business models. Develop business with building longterm ambition for Small Cs (pricing funnel, innovation funnel) Coordinate with global/regional/local finance teams in matters relating to channel and category business, as required. Be a topic champion for specific individual topics like Innovation Business Case ensure ongoing standardization and quality improvement. Budget management including scheme approval, monthly closing & actual variance. Coordinate with SEA finance teams in matters relating to category business, as required, and support other financial analysis for SEA Nutrition BU or Global/SEA Nutrition Finance projects as needed. Support in preparing certain reports (e.g. monthly, quarterly, adhoc requests for Global reporting submission) as required. Build team's capability for continuous improvement.
Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA/CMA certification is a plus.
  • Eight years of experience in finance roles, including financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and business partnering.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Relevant experiences preferred (e.g. FMCG/Finance partnering/Auditing/etc.)
  • Team Leadership: Promote a shared vision and inspires others to embrace learning, experimentation, development.
  • Personal Effectiveness: Effective and proven strategic planning, ability to learn quickly, handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously, resilient and determined towards success. Calm in the face of ambiguity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Good command of English.
