What the day will look like

Prospecting

  • Creating prospects via facetoface meetings and drive Korean book across all solutions to maximize growth via strong rollover, retention, penetration.
  • Managing current portfolio and develop new business and clients.
  • Coordinating with other teams (CT, HS, Claim, etc) in service offerings/deliveries in an efficient and professional manner. Such enquiries may relate to claims, premiums, market trend, and product information or claim statistics.
  • Understanding the needs of clients and address these to the mutual benefit of both parties.
  • Verifying renewal documents, assess if new products from underwriters and services can be offered, issue renewal confirmations to underwriters and consolidate renewal document.
  • Advising client on claim control measure.
  • Reviewing and reporting service quality issues on a daily basis and to ensure all clients complaints are reported and taken seriously.
  • Maintaining close business relationship with the clients and the underwriters.
  • Promoting the Company image by introducing company products such as Aon Care etc.

Broking

  • Coordinating to handle broking activities based on experience of gathering quotations for prospect businesses, putting together comparative proposals, analyzing offers from insurers and proposing primary recommendations.
  • Updating marketing technical format and presentations
  • Executing insurance compliance placement responsibilities (KYC, docs) to support Korean Desk to drive growth
  • Handling the following up of won accounts and arranging the placement of policies for the clients

Operations and Administrative Assistant

  • Cooperating with Accounting Department in following up premium settlement from clients and to request refund of credit balance to client.
  • Providing input for the Business Development annual budget, in terms of both expenses and revenue.
  • Developing own skill set on knowledge base through participation in company arranged training programs and company sponsored training program.


 Supporting the Director
  • Korean Desk with system handling and administrative tasks to achieve operational excellence.
  • Scheduling and coordinating related appointments and meetings; preparing meeting minutes, reports and documentation accordingly when required.
  • Performing as a liaison between Director, Korean Desk and other colleagues as required
  • Other tasks as assigned

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Bachelor/Master of Business, Insurance Diploma/Associate is an advantage
  • Have at least 7 year experience in Account Management/Client Management role, preferably in Insurance Sector.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Selfinitiative, effective interpersonal skills, agile mindset, collaborative spirit
  • Proficiency in computer software
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint
