  • VinUniversity is seeking an entrepreneurial, collaborationfocused professional to join our team as Corporate Engagement & Career Services Officer, who will support the Corporate Engagement & Career Services Manager in the design and delivery of Corporate Engagement & Career Services function.
  • The Officer will play a key role in the coordinate and organise valueadded activities at the Corporate Engagement & Career Services office, including providing support for career services for VinUniversity's undergraduate and Postgraduate students, planning and designing effective career and employability skill enhancement programmes for students, providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders related to his/ her scope of work.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Corporate Engagement activities:

  • Supports the Manager to develop and prepare VinUniversity's annual plan to manage corporate engagement activities.
  • Supports and cooridinates for incampus and company visits.
  • Supports and plays key role in organizing Career day and networking events.
  • Conduct quality assurance and assessment for the departments.
  • Supervise and manage student's projects Maintains Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and ensures the integrity of the data.
  • Be responsible for adhoc projects as required by linemanager such as analysis of key data points within corporate responses to inform campaign outreach.
  • Manage the budget of the Department.

Career Services activities:

  • Provide career guidance to recent graduates and alumni.
  • Educate students about resume building, interview process, job expectation and professionalism.
  • Maintain regular contacts with companies for new job opportunities and organize interviews for students (mock interview and incampus interview).
  • Provide job placement assistance to students according to school policies, and federal and state regulations.
  • Hold seminars on interview skills and job search strategies.
  • Organize job fairs, career programs, and other student activities.
  • Conduct research to analyze employment trends both locally and nationally.
  • Develop strong relationships with potential employers to build job placement opportunities, mentorship network for students.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
  • At least 03 years working experience in program administration, executive assistance at an international development organization, nonprofit agency, university, international education organization.
  • Demonstrate experience in meeting organization, project planning, budget management, and task prioritization.
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for contributing to develop a worldclass education in Vietnam and have a strong commitment in managing a longhaul program.
