Your Mission:

  • Develop and maintain strong material supplier base.
  • Develop and update material toolbox according to the SMU requirements.
  • Manage all development and bulk fabric coordination with Mills for SMU's
  • Greige booking, bulk lot approval, testing and ensure ontime delivery of fabrics.
  • As a development support function, you will need to work closely with the Material team based in Zurich and Vietnam.
  • Negotiate seasonal prices and MOQ/MCQ's with suppliers for different SMU's with the consolidation approach.
  • Maintain accurate database of materials supply from Suppliers to support supply chain management project: Seasonal Price Negotiations, Lead Time Reduction, Capacity Booking, factory Performance Management.
  • Mitigate material & trim issues with suppliers & factories.
  • Coordinate with the sustainability & Compliance team and ensure on the materials sourced

Your story:

  • Textile Engineering is a professional degree.
  • You should have 1012 years of relevant experience in material management, preferably with 45 years in a fabric manufacturing establishment.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills. Strong knowledge of technical fabrics & prints
  • Strong knowhow of the fabric manufacturing setup and printing technologies.
  • Knowhow in data analytic tools like Smartsheet, PLM, Google sheets
  • Proficiency in English is a must.
  • An entrepreneurial and open mindset, an eagerness for differentiation, and a natural push for excellence.
  • Able to balance creativity with organisation and discipline in a fastpaced environment
