Description:
Job Summary
- Manage and supervise sales team to achieve medical sales goals for assigned businesses/regions and overall business goals
General Responsibilities
- Manage the department's budget and operating expenses according to annual allocations to ensure effective use of resources, if any.
- Develop and execute shortterm and longterm medical sales strategies and plans to achieve sales goals for assigned businesses/territories
- Monitor team key performance indicators achievement. Conduct regular reviews to provide feedback on achievements, performance gaps and improvement requirements
- Manage and monitor the progress of sales activities of the assigned business/region. Identify and implement customized solutions based on market changes and trends
- Manage revenue reports and expected revenue/profit forecasts. Recommend areas for expanding customer base based on market knowledge
- Manage continuous improvement in sales processes, sales plans, customer satisfaction, etc. to improve sales goals
- Manage customer problem resolutions and recommend preventative actions to minimize future incidents
- Develop and build relationships with customers to achieve business goals
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to better understand customer requirements and capitalize on crossproduct/industry business opportunities
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Skills: Proficient in office computers: Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Work experience: In the pharmaceutical or medical device field.
Education
- Education: Related educational level: University pharmacist
