Job Summary
Account and Business development in Food & Beverage

General Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement shortterm and longterm technical sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories/customers.
  • Manage reporting of sales and projects, responsible for portfolio and clients/ suppliers as assigned.
  • Propose areas for customer expansion based on market knowledge.
  • Develop a good multilevel relationship with customers who are in the R&D, Purchasing, Marketing, and Production departments
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure service delivered to meet clients/customer's requirements.
  • Identify product gaps and business opportunities based on lost sales data, customer feedback, and market competition

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • B2B selling skills with a technical/solution approach
  • Understanding customer's/clients' value propositions
  • Knowledge of food ingredients, additives, and food processing
  • Good relations with the customers in the market and knowing the competition
  • Communication/Interpersonal skills
  • Negotiation and problemsolving skills
  • Can use English in both verbal and written

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology/ Biotechnology. (Graduated from the University of Food Technology and University of Technology has the advantage)

Work Experience

3-5 years of selling experience in the food ingredients industry, experience of working with key account in processed food/seafood/flavour segment is preferred.
