Position Summary

The North Vietnam Service Engineer provides technical support, service education, and maintenance for mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic, and multi-networking solution-based equipment to all appointed dealers in Northern Vietnam. The role ensures proper installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and compliance with operational standards. This position also supports service revenue, spare parts management, and team collaboration to optimize consumables usage and equipment specifications.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Perform pre-installation, installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, servicing, and IQOQ for STERIS and related equipment, including troubleshooting, calibrating, and certifying equipment.
  2. Support Vietnam service dealers with service calls, warranty repairs, field upgrades, and recommended equipment modifications.
  3. Promote and implement regular preventive maintenance and parts replacement according to factory standards; educate customers on its benefits.
  4. Conduct dealer and end-user service training in native language as required.
  5. Provide technical support to sales teams and service dealers via email, phone, and on-site visits.
  6. Execute administrative tasks including translation of manuals, scheduling, communication with dealers, and inventory management.
  7. Develop and maintain effective relationships with dealers, managers, and support teams; pursue continuing education opportunities.
  8. Respond to customer and sales inquiries regarding equipment operation and performance; provide on-site support when necessary.
  9. Adhere to customer protocols and health & safety regulations while performing duties on-site.

  12. Collect monthly cycle data for VPRO, washers, and other CSSD/OR/Endo equipment.
  13. Coordinate with the Consumables team to increase chemical usage.

Education & Experience

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree (minimum) or equivalent technical/vocational qualification.

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 2 years in medical equipment service or dealer support.
  • CSSD, OR, and Endo experience preferred.

Specific Work Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel and emergency work weekends as required.
  • Fluent in English/
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage ambiguity.
