The Role
This dual-role position combines core General Accounting responsibilities with day‑to‑day Operational Support (logistics & office admin) to keep our Vietnam subsidiary running smoothly and in compliance. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams and report to the Business Operations Manager.
What you'll do
Accounting (approx. 70%)
- Record daily transactions in line with VAS; maintain audit‑ready documentation and a systematic filing system.
- Handle accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and inventory accounting; perform bank reconciliations and payment processing.
- Manage AR/AP cycles to ensure timely collections and payments; support monthly/quarterly/year‑end closing and audit schedules.
- Prepare and submit tax reports accurately and on time; maintain payroll records, including SHUI & Union.
- Draft/maintain commercial contracts, and support ad hoc tasks assigned by the team lead.
Operation Support (approx. 30%)
- Coordinate shipments with forwarders/customs brokers; track delivery timelines and update internal teams.
- Ensure import/export documentation and customs compliance; liaise with the warehouse on inventory movements.
- Maintain proper filing of shipping documents, invoices, and contracts; support general office administration as needed.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; hands‑on experience with VAS, taxation, AR/AP, bank reconciliation, and closing activities.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability in a highly regulated environment.
- Proactive mindset, self‑starter, and a team player who can complete tasks under demanding pressure. (Required)
- Ability to multitask across accounting and operations, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English.
