RECRUITMENT:
AIRLINE SERVICES RESEARCH & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

I. POSITION OVERVIEW

Mountain Sea Aviation (MSA) is a licensed aviation service provider approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) to operate at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Phu Quoc International Airport, and Da Nang International Airport.

MSA is expanding its Airline Services portfolio, including:

1. Airline Representation & Station Management Support

2. Flight Supervision

3. Crew Logistics & Layover Management

4. IRROPS Support (Delay / Cancellation Handling)

5. Charter Flight Handling & Coordination

6. Administrative & Permit Services for Airlines

We are seeking a management-level professional with hands-on experience in aviation, travel, or logistics to develop a complete service framework and directly work with international airlines.

This is a key-builder role, reporting directly to the CEO, responsible for securing MSA's first airline partners and establishing long-term cooperation.

II. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Build the foundational system for MSA's Airline Services

· Develop a complete "Airline-Ready" documentation package: Company Profile, SOPs, KPI/SLA metrics, Safety & Quality manuals.

· Standardize operational processes across all airline service lines.

· Contribute to the strategic expansion of MSA's airline partner network.

1. Business Development with Airlines

· Identify target airlines and formulate tailored engagement strategies.

· Approach the correct decision makers at Head Office / Regional Offices (Operations, Commercial, Procurement).

· Prepare proposals, conduct presentations (online or onsite), and coordinate with international stakeholders.

· Lead contract negotiations regarding scope of work, SLA, pricing, compliance terms, and penalty clauses.

1. Contract Implementation & Operational Oversight

· Act as the primary liaison between Airline – MSA – Ground Handling Agents – Airport Authorities.

· Prepare documentation and coordination for airline audits and inspections.

· Supervise start-up operations for new routes and seasonal flight programs.

· Establish internal coordination procedures for each airline contract.

1. Internal Capability Building

· Train the Operations team on airline-specific procedures and service standards.

· Provide guidance to the Sales team on how to work effectively with airlines.

· Maintain the business pipeline and deliver periodic progress reports to the CEO.

III. REQUIREMENTS

1. Knowledge & Experience

· Minimum 5–10 years of experience in the aviation industry.

· Preference for candidates who:

o Have held supervisory or management positions.

o Participated in flight start-up / seasonal operations.

o Understand airline permits, documentation processes, and administrative procedures.

o Have working knowledge of ICAO/IATA standards, safety, and operational compliance.

1. Skills

· Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with airline management.

· Proficiency in preparing proposals and delivering professional pitch decks.

· Good English communication skills (email, online/offline meetings with international partners).

· Ability to develop SOPs, manpower plans, and operational plans.

1. Personality & Attributes

· Highly detail-oriented with a strong operations and safety mindset.

· Motivated to build systems from the ground up.

· Persistent and capable of handling long sales cycles (6–18 months).

· Strong industry network and reputable professional presence.

IV. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

1. Base Salary

VND 20 – 30 million /month

(Depending on experience and industry influence).

1. Airline Contract Bonus

· 1 month of base salary for the first airline secured (50% paid upon signing, 50% after successful operational stabilization).

· 50% of one month salary for each additional airline.

1. Revenue Share / Commission

· 3–5% Gross Profit generated from Airline Services

1. Annual Bonus

· Performance-based annual bonus.

1. Aviation-Specific Benefits

· Enhanced travel allowance and per-diem for business trips.

· Participation in regional/international airline workshops and networking events.

· MSA sponsorship for relevant IATA certifications (Operations, Safety, Station Management).
