Position Overview:

As a Product Designer, you are the vital link between our bold vision and our technical execution. Your core mission is to tame the complexity of modern work by translating abstract goals (like "unify calendars, tasks, and knowledge") into a single, intuitive, and buildable product experience.

You will be the team's chief user advocate, ensuring what we build is desirable, while also providing the design clarity to reduce developer friction and ensure how we build it is efficient.

• Position Type:
   Full-Time (9AM - 12AM, 1PM - 6PM, Monday to Friday; 40 hours per week).
• Reports to:
   CEO / Head of Product Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• User Research & Strategy
• Lead user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing) to deeply understand user pain points and validate business assumptions.
• Create user personas, journey maps, and user flows to communicate insights and guide product strategy alongside the Product lead.
• Solution & UX Design
• Take broad concepts and business requirements and break them down into practical, feasible solution designs.
• Create low-fidelity wireframes and interactive high-fidelity prototypes (e.g., in Figma) to explore and iterate on solutions.
• Design the information architecture and navigation systems to make the product intuitive and easy to use.
• UI & Brand Developmen
• Craft and maintain our company's visual brand identity, ensuring a strong, consistent, and memorable presence.
• Stay ahead of design trends and customer preferences to ensure our product feels fresh and delightful.
• Cross-Functional Communication
• Act as the primary design partner for both the Product and Technical lead.
• Create and present clear design specifications, user stories, and documentation for complex products.
• Articulate and defend design decisions based on user research, business goals, and systems-level thinking.

Requirements:

• An End-to-End Designer:
   You have a strong portfolio that shows your process across UX research, UX design (flows, wireframes), and UI design (visuals, brand).
• A "BA" Mindset / Systems-Thinker:
   You are a logical thinker who loves untangling complex problems. You have a talent for organizing ambiguity into clear, structured, and detailed design specifications.
• A User-First Advocate:
   You are obsessed with the user and relentlessly advocate for their needs, especially when designing complex workflows.
• A Startup Partner:
   You are proactive, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable with ambiguity and eager to take ownership.
• Bonus Points For:
• Experience designing for 
  AI-powered products
   or data-heavy applications.
• A basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JS) to help design feasible solutions.
• "Power user" of tools like Notion, Jira, Figma, etc., and have strong opinions on how they could be better.
