Position: Sales Manager – Machinery

Location: Vietnam (HCMC )

Reporting to: Country Manager

Company Overview

Our client is a reputable global manufacturer and solution provider in
Machinery.
The company serves customers across
automotive, packaging, electronics, medical, construction, and consumer goods
industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve annual revenue and growth targets for
    Machinery and related solutions
    .
  • Drive new business development while expanding market penetration across key industrial segments.
  • Identify new projects, applications, and customers within the processing industry.

Key Account Management

  • Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, OEMs, and tier-1 manufacturers.
  • Own the full sales cycle from
    prospecting, technical discussion, quotation, negotiation, to contract closing
    .
  • Work closely with customers to understand production needs and propose suitableprocessing solutions.

Technical & Solution Selling

  • Collaborate with application, engineering, and service teams to deliver
    tailor-made machinery solutions
    .
  • Conduct technical presentations, plant visits, and solution demonstrations.
  • Support machine trials, FAT/SAT, commissioning coordination, and post-sales follow-up when required.

Channel & Partner Management

  • Develop and manage distributors, agents, or system integrators to strengthen market coverage.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance monitoring for sales partners.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and customer demand.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline management, and regular performance reports.
  • Provide strategic insights to management on market positioning and business expansion.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation
    , or related disciplines.
  • Minimum
    8–12 years of B2B sales experience
    in
    Machinery or capital equipment
    .

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of:
  • processing technologies and production workflows
  • industrial manufacturing environments

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong commercial acumen with consultative selling capability.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in
    English
    ; additional languages (Japanese, Korean, Chinese) are a plus.

Mobility

  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites and regional mark
