Ryoss is an Australian-owned professional services and technology group with operations across the Asia-Pacific. We specialise in outsourcing, business setup, corporate compliance, technology integration, and back-office support for global clients.

We are now establishing our Vietnam entity to expand our regional footprint and build a long-term base for operations, talent, and specialised service delivery. This role will play a direct part in shaping that foundation.

The Role

We are seeking a hands-on and capable Country Manager to help establish and operate our new Vietnam business. This is a foundational role that blends practical execution with steady leadership. You will work closely with the Australian founders to set up the entity, manage the incorporation process, coordinate local advisers, recruit the first team members, and build our operational capabilities as we begin delivering services to international clients.

This is not a purely strategic position; it is an execution-focused role suited to someone who is confident rolling up their sleeves and handling the work required to get a new business established in Vietnam.

Once the entity is set up and staffed, you will continue to manage day-to-day operations, ensure smooth service delivery, maintain compliance, support staff, and act as the key on-the-ground representative of Ryoss in Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities

Incorporation & Setup

• Coordinate with lawyers, accountants, and government agencies to complete the incorporation of our Vietnam entity.
• Assist with business permits, registrations, tax setup, and ongoing compliance requirements.
• Establish local processes, policies, and essential business infrastructure.

Recruitment & Team Formation

• Recruit the first employees including operations, support, and service-delivery staff.
• Build a positive, structured working environment from day one.
• Manage onboarding, local HR processes, and basic performance management.

Operations & Delivery

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Vietnam office once established.
• Support delivery of outsourcing, administrative support, and professional services for international clients.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure work meets client expectations.
• Work with the Australian team to improve workflows, documentation, and service delivery systems.

Local Leadership & Coordination

• Act as the primary point of contact for all Vietnam operations.
• Liaise with partners, vendors, government bodies, and clients where required.
• Provide regular reporting to the Australian co-founders.
• Ensure compliance with Vietnamese corporate, tax, labour, and data regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in operations, administration, business management, or professional services in Vietnam.
• Previous involvement in company incorporation, regulatory processes, or working with corporate service providers is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of basic HR, payroll, and employment norms in Vietnam.
• Confident handling paperwork, government processes, and vendor coordination.
• Able to recruit, onboard, and supervise early-stage team members.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Trustworthy, reliable, and comfortable working directly with overseas founders.
• A proactive mindset, able to solve problems without needing constant direction.
