ABOUT THE ROLE:
- GVM is seeking a highly skilled
Deputy Marketing Manager
to lead brand strategy, oversee multi-channel marketing operations, and ensure effective system governance in alignment with the Group's direction. - This role plays a key part in strengthening GVM's brand positioning, elevating customer experience, and driving long-term brand value.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Brand Management
- Define GVM's brand positioning, develop the brand identity system, and ensure compliance in brand usage.
- Build and execute brand-building campaigns to enhance brand awareness and equity.
- Collaborate with Legal to implement trademark protection and IP-related activities for GVM.
2. Marketing & Communications Operations
- Execute and monitor all marketing, PR, and communication activities supporting business growth: promotions, loyalty programs, gifting, customer engagement, mass mailing/SMS, online ads, and sales materials.
- Manage marketing assets across all distribution channels and facilities.
- Oversee design, operations, and performance of website, fanpage, SEO, and social platforms (Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn).
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness and propose data-driven improvements.
- Develop marketing plans tailored to each facility in alignment with Group strategy.
3. People Development & Process Management
- Build and refine marketing processes aligned with GVM's operating model.
- Train, allocate, evaluate and develop the marketing team; ensure capability building and compliance with departmental standards.
- Coordinate or deliver internal training programs and engagement activities to strengthen team performance.
4. Budget Management
- Develop and manage marketing and communication budgets.
- Ensure spending efficiency, alignment with business goals, and compliance with approved budget levels.
5. Governance & System Operations
- Lead the development of internal governance systems: regulations, processes, forms, checklists…
- Propose adjustments to the Delegation of Authority Matrix when needed.
- Maintain data, documents, and internal records in compliance with Group and GVM policies.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Marketing
, including
at least 5 years in a managerial or equivalent role
. - Experience in
Real Estate, Hospitality, Travel, Insurance, or Services
is highly preferred. - Strong understanding of branding, PR, digital marketing, and social media.
- Proven PR content development skills and media relations capability.
- Strong leadership, multitasking, team collaboration, and data analysis skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with high professional standards.
